After completing the
application process, please look for a confirmation page to assure
your application was submitted. If you do not see the
confirmation page your application has not been submitted; retry
completing the application.

After completing the
camp application, look for an email confirmation for the receipts of the
application sent to both the applicant and the parent. If the
receipt had not been received within 7 days, please contact
matherscize@osu.edu.

You will need
transportation daily. We do very little arranging of ride
shares, although it is sometimes done with girls coming from the
same school. These arrangements are better handled within your
own school or friends group.

Please understand that
participants are expected to attend every day of the 5-day camp.
Activities are collaboratively completed and build upon each other
from one day to the next, or are connected across the days.
Missing a day hurts not only the participant's work, but also the
work of her whole group. If you need to miss a day because of
some other activity, it would be best not to apply this year, and
instead find a year that better suits your schedule.

Although parents and
family members are welcome to visit at any time during the camp, the
lunches are rather structured and are not a good time to expect the
camper to stop and visit with family.

Please ensure all parts
of the application have been completed before the deadline, as
completed applications are the only applications considered for
acceptance to Matherscize.

Please note that this is
an application, not a registration. Many girls apply. Of
those, we select the actual camp participants on a
first-come-first-served basis in conjunction with grade levels and
schools. A successful camp depends on a diverse group of
participants. It is important to apply early.

Look for an email
notifying you of the status of your application in mid June.
Since that will be sent via email, and no other notification will be
sent, please be certain to inform us at
matherscize@osu.edu
should you change your email address after completing the
application. You will be informed of whether you have been
accepted, waitlisted, or if accepted, will receive further details.
